Ever since the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) was imposed in NCR, we have been relying on delivery services for our supply of groceries, meat, fruits and vegetables. For more than a month now, we have been ordering fresh meat from Fresh Options Meatshop (Fresh Options) Annapolis branch. I have come to know about Fresh Options through Facebook. We have ordered from Fresh Options three times already since the start of ECQ, and we have been satisfied with their service so far. First, they offer a wide range of products. Second, delivery is free. Lastly, their staff are polite and accommodating.

Aside from fresh chicken, pork, beef, they also sell packed Daing na Bangus and Cream Dory Fillet plus hotdog and chicken siomai. They also offer ready-to-heat Pinoy ulam. Their Ulam Mismo series includes Beef Caldereta, Kare-Kare, Dinuguan, Bopis, Binagoongan, Bicol Express, Bistek Tagalog, Pork Humba, Adobo sa Gata, Beef Mechado, Pochero, Picadillo, Pares and Sisig.

If you’re craving for crispy fried dishes, then you should try their Crispinoy products (Crispy Pata and Crispy Pork Panga). They also have marinated meat products called Merrynades if you’re in the mood for some barbecue. Longing for pasta? Their Chef Series pasta dishes will surely sate your appetite.

  1. I wish we have that option here in the province. We have no choice but to go to the wet market to buy our meat supply.

  2. I’ve never tried a meat delivery service. Will check this out. Ang hirap na kasing lumabas ngayon. Even after ECQ I think people will still stay at home.

This blog was originally put up to document my son’s growing-up milestones, all for posterity’s sake. But there are other things to write about, aside from “mommyhood,” that merit my attention, and I’m including them all here. This blog now chronicles my life as a mom and a wife and everything else in between. For collabs, please email tgfiguerres@yahoo.com.
