Finally, I got to write about what we did and where we went four months ago to celebrate my birthday. We headed off to Anvaya Cove Beach & Nature Club (Anvaya Cove) in Morong, Bataan last February 1 to get a good dose of vitamin sea and have some much needed rest and relaxation.

Anvaya Cove is an exclusive beach and nature club. This means it’s open only to members. Non-club members like ourselves, however, can still avail the facilities and amenities of Anvaya Cove by renting the condo units or villas of its club members that are listed at Airbnb.

ANVAYA COVE SEABREEZE VERANDA
We stayed for two days at the Anvaya Cove Seabreeze Veranda, Building D, Unit 210. It’s one of the units owned by Mr. Mike Naig. It’s a fully furnished one-bedroom condo unit, big enough for a small family like ours. It can actually accommodate up to four people. The price is a bit stiff, though, at Php9,000 per day, but I guess that’s to be expected for a place like this.

This living room is quite homey if you’d ask me. See how cozy our 12-year-old son looked like in this photo. We went directly to this place after fetching him from school on a Friday afternoon.

How I wish we actually live in a condo this size!

The following kitchen equipment are at the guests’ disposal: rice cooker, oven, and kettle. The only thing we did in the kitchen was to heat some water for coffee. Because it’s mommy’s day off, all I really wanted to do here was eat, sleep, and chillax to the max.

All three of us snugly slept on the same bed. There was also a provision for an extra mattress in case the bed wasn’t enough.

The bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower was spic and span. Toiletries were provided as well, except for toothpaste and toothbrush, if my memory serves me right.

As you can see, the condo unit we rented at Seabreeze Veranda was well-kept. We really had a pleasant stay here! Take note of the following restrictions, though. Smoking, bringing of pets, and cooking (EXCEPT heating water for coffee/tea, cooking rice, and reheating of food) are not allowed here.

CLUB FACILITIES
Guests would have to pay Php600 per head per day for the use of Anvaya Cove’s club facilities, half of which is consumable on the same day only.

Anvaya Cove’s pristine white sand beach is gorgeous! Here, the guests can do many sports and activities, like beach football, disc throwing and catching, volleyball, etc. Watersports activities include banana boat, snorkeling, and kayaking, among others.

Anvaya Cove is truly a tropical paradise!

As if the beach isn’t enough, there are also Anvaya Cove’s infinity and lap pools where you can swim at your heart’s content.

The sun was blazing, but we didn’t mind. Mom and son just want to have fun!

Anvaya Cove also has a Golf and Sports Club, Nature Camp, and a Seahorse Kiddie Village, plus a Game Lounge, which unfortunately, we weren’t able to visit. The Nature Camp offers the following activities: Adult Zipline, Kiddie Zipline, Trails, Wall Climbing, Rappelling, and Bird Watching. The young ones, on the other hand, will absolutely enjoy staying at the Seahorse Kiddie Village that has its own children’s pool and play areas. Guests can go to the Game Lounge if they want to play board games or electronic gaming systems, such as X-Box 360, PlayStation 4, and the Wii.

They have a souvenir shop, too!

And then it was time to leave. We were back to our busy lives before we know it. Sigh!

If you’re looking for a place to unwind and chill out with the fambam, you better go to Anvaya Cove. You’ll surely enjoy it there!

This blog was originally put up to document my son’s growing-up milestones, all for posterity’s sake. But there are other things to write about, aside from “mommyhood,” that merit my attention, and I’m including them all here. This blog now chronicles my life as a mom and a wife and everything else in between. For collabs, please email tgfiguerres@yahoo.com.
