Belgian bag brand Kipling teamed up with World Vision, a world renowned Christian development and advocacy organization, to bring “A Brighter Christmas For A Brighter Tomorrow.” This is a program that aims to provide additional funds for the education of children under the care of World Vision. I attended the launch of this program at Society Lounge at Atrium Building, Makati City last Tuesday, November 20, 2012, along with other bloggers and media people. Miss Miriam Quiambao hosted the event.

According to Benjamin Go, President of Greyhound Marketing Corporation, exclusive distributor of Kipling in the Philippines, “There is no greater joy this Christmas than knowing we have brought smiles to others, especially children. Through “A Brighter Christmas For A Brighter Tomorrow” program, we can make not only the holidays, but also the future, brighter for the children of World Vision.”

“We are very delighted to have this partnership with Kipling, which is known globally for bringing fun and joy through its fashionable bags. Were happy that this time, Kipling has decided to reach out and bring the same kind of goodwill to ensure the education of children sponsored by World Vision,” says National Resource Development Associate Director Jun Godornes.

Some of the country’s biggest celebrities, like Miriam Quiambao, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Kylie Padilla and Jessica Connelly are also extending their support to the program. Also helping raise awareness about Kipling’s A Brighter Christmas For A Brighter Tomorrow With World Vision program are The Sven Group (Kipling’s ad agency) and Vidanes Marketing (Kipling’s talent agency).

Now, we can also share in giving children a brighter tomorrow by shopping for a cause. For every Kipling bag or luggage purchased from December 1 to 31, 2012, Kipling will donate Php500 to World Vision.

Kipling’s Holiday Collection called Basic Elevated was also showcased during the event. These sporty and glam bags come in stylish quilted exteriors, patent details, stunning linings and three Christmas-themed colors red, white and black.

  1. I received a free Kipling bag from them and it was very useful. I use it as my laptop bag. 🙂 It’s good to know that Kipling has teamed up with World Vision. 🙂

This blog was originally put up to document my son’s growing-up milestones, all for posterity’s sake. But there are other things to write about, aside from “mommyhood,” that merit my attention, and I’m including them all here. This blog now chronicles my life as a mom and a wife and everything else in between. For collabs, please email tgfiguerres@yahoo.com.
