Near tears, my 6-year-old son was telling me while finishing his breakfast today that his wiggly front tooth was dislodged. I found the tooth inside his mouth mixed in the food he’s chewing, and I asked him to gargle in the bathroom sink. After gargling, he looked at himself in the mirror and asked me this mind-boggling question: “Mommy, am I not handsome anymore?” I silently let out a laugh upon hearing my little boy’s dilemma. He was actually more concerned about his looks than the pain he was feeling or the blood he was seeing.

You have a brave boy! By the way, did the tooth fairy pay a visit?
Aww. Of course you are still handsome! I will probably laugh if this happens to my son. Haha!
ooh, i could only imagine, i hate seeing blood and my little daughter is now complaining of having tooth ache.
I think I had to same concern when I lost my front tooth when I was seven, and I was called vampire by my cousins for some time. Ugh! Justin is so cute with or without the front tooth 🙂
Loosing tooth at that age is not really painful. But I guess with the current trend now, young kids gets conscious with their looks. Does he know about the tooth fairy?
