I can’t live without my eye glasses! Yes, that’s true! I never leave the house without wearing my prescription eyeglasses because I’m visually impaired. I’ve been wearing eyeglasses for as long as I can remember.
My eye sight grew worse after I went under the knife in 2004 for the removal of my pituitary tumor. That’s because the tumor was impinging on my optic nerves even before the operation was done.
Suffice it to say that my eyeglasses are my best friend. I take them with me wherever I go, such as when I have to drop my son off at school in the morning, when I work at home, and when I need to do personal errands.
I also need two pairs of eyeglasses, one at home and one when I’m going out or attending events. The pair of eyeglasses I use at home is quite old but still works fine, and the other pair has been with me for a little over a year now. This one cost me an arm and a leg, and that’s why I’m really taking care of it.
Recently, my husband told me that he might be needing eyeglasses, too, so we’d probably be looking for men’s glasses for him this weekend. Any suggestions?
