Last Friday, I went to my son’s school early for the second Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC) for school year 2011-2012. I brought home his Developmental Portfolio (a.k.a. Report Card) to show to his Dad. His grades for the second semester are mostly M’s (M stands for Mastered) with some G’s (G means Good Progress).
These are his teachers’ comments on his Developmental Portfolio: “Justin is diligent in class and can now focus and do his work independently. He is also able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.”
His teacher also told me that my son is the best reader in the morning kindergarten class. While my son’s school doesn’t give awards or medals to their students, it’s enough for me to hear from his teacher that he excels in this area. This made me a very proud mom!

Congratulations! Mommy Tetcha and to little Justin for doing good in class 🙂
good job!,Justin
Congratulations to Justin! And to you and hubby too for this proud moment 🙂 Keep on motivating him to read 🙂
Congratulations to you and Justin!
Awards are not the true measure of academic/learning achievements. It’s how the child is able to understand and apply properly the things he learns in school. The teacher may have done a good job in evaluating your son’s performance.
=)
Wow congrats! You must be really proud. Being a good reader this early will definitely pay off for your son.
congratulations! 😀
