Being a work-at-home mom, I have so many things to accomplish on a day-to-day basis. I have to attend to my work five days a week, see to my husband’s and son’s needs, and make sure our house is in good working order. Because I’m always preoccupied with my work, wife, and mommy chores, there are things that escape my attention. There are also things that I sometimes commit to memory but tend to forget later. That is why I make it a point to always take a pocket planner with me wherever I go.
I’m lucky my husband’s office gives out pocket planners to their employees annually. Because I’m the one who does all the planning at home, my husband lets me use his pocket planner. That gives him a very good excuse not to worry about the little details in our lives because he knows I’m the one jotting things down. LOL!
Pocket planners come in handy when you need to remember important dates, such as doctor’s appointments, meetings, birthdays, etc. They are good gift items, too, especially for busy people. I find simple and elegant pocket planners appealing, but because people’s wants vary, I buy different types of pocket planners to give to family and friends. In my own little way, I hope I’m able to help make things a little more organized for the people I care about.
