My friends and I had a sinful night out yesterday at Superbowl, Glorietta Mall, Makati as we met up for our annual Christmas get-together. I deliberately missed my afternoon work because I didn’t want to get caught up in traffic and to be late for this once-a-year event. That was the first sin I committed for the day.
Then, we ordered a sumptuous group meal, which is good for 10 people, but in reality, it would take 15 people to consume the entire thing. Because I did not have my afternoon snack, I ate more than what my stomach can handle; in short, I pigged out. That was my second sin for the day.
And who can say no to free Starbucks and sweet treats (courtesy of our dear friend Ana who now resides in the U.S. Thanks, Ann!). I don’t have a sweet tooth, but last night I indulged. I had hot chocolate with cinnamon swirl. That was Sin No. 3.
