Foiled Vacation

We’re supposed to have arrived today from a four-day, three-night stay in Palawan via Philippine Air Lines. It was supposed to be Justin’s first plane ride and mommy’s second. It was supposed to be our first family vacation. But we had to back out at the last minute because of the A(H1N1) threat. Never mind if my husband already paid for our non-refundable airline tickets. Never mind that it might take long before we can plan another trip again. There’ll be other times for us to travel. The timing is just not perfect. We’re much safer where we are right now, in our home sweet home.
